Nest Cleaning Co. LLC ("Nest Cleaning Co.", "we", "us") operates nestcleaningco.com and provides cleaning services in Colorado. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of providing our services, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We are a small, owner-operated business. We collect the information we need to quote and carry out cleaning work, and nothing beyond that. We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the quote request form on this site, we collect the name, phone number, email address, and service type you enter. If you call, text, or email us, we collect whatever you choose to tell us, which usually includes the address of the property and a description of the work. If you become a customer we also keep the records needed to schedule, perform, invoice, and follow up on the job.

Information collected automatically

Google Analytics 4 records standard web analytics data: the pages you visit, roughly how long you stay, the site or search that sent you, and general device and browser information. Google Analytics also derives an approximate location from your IP address, at roughly the level of a city. We have IP anonymisation enabled, and we have turned off Google Signals and any sharing of your data for Google's own advertising purposes.

Analytics cookies are set as soon as you arrive on the site. We do not ask first. If you would rather not be measured, you can block cookies for this site in your browser settings, browse in a private or incognito window, or install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The site works normally either way.

Our web host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, as a normal part of serving and securing the site. These are used for security and reliability, not for tracking you across the web.

Information we do not collect

We do not take payment through this website, so no card or bank details are ever entered here or stored by us. We do not run advertising pixels, cross-site trackers, or social media tracking on this site. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

How we use your information

To prepare and send you a quote, and to answer your questions.
To schedule, perform, and invoice cleaning work.
To reach you about a booked or completed job, including confirmations, changes, and follow-up.
To keep our own business records, including for tax and insurance purposes.
To understand, in aggregate, which parts of the site are useful, so we can improve them.

We will only send you marketing messages if you have asked for them, and every one of them will have a way to stop.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that make the business run, and only to the extent they need it:

Formspree receives and delivers the quote form submissions from this website.
Netlify hosts the website.
Google Analytics processes website usage data.
Our email, phone, scheduling, and accounting providers hold the ordinary records of doing business with you.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim, or to protect the safety of a person or property. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

How long we keep it

Quote requests that do not become jobs are kept for up to two years, so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Customer and job records are kept for as long as we have a working relationship and then for the period our tax, accounting, and insurance obligations require, which is generally seven years. Analytics data is retained by Google for fourteen months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

Your privacy rights in Colorado

Under the Colorado Privacy Act, Colorado residents have the right to:

Know and access the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it in a portable format.
Correct personal data that is inaccurate.
Delete personal data we hold about you.
Opt out of the sale of personal data, of targeted advertising, and of profiling with legal or similarly significant effects. We do none of these three things, so there is nothing here to opt out of, but the right stands.

To exercise any of these, email juan@nestcleaningco.com or call (720) 481-4072. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, which we will normally do by matching your request against the contact details we already hold. Using these rights costs nothing and will never affect the service you get from us.

If we turn your request down, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing us with the word "appeal" in the subject line. We will respond to an appeal within 45 days and explain our reasoning. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General at coag.gov.

You can turn analytics off at any time using any of the browser-level options described under "Information collected automatically" above.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the quote form is encrypted in transit. We limit access to customer records to the people who need them to do the work. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of your information seriously and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

Children

This website is meant for adults arranging cleaning services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged on the site itself so you are not expected to re-read it to notice.
