On the dayWhat to expect on the day
As with any visit, most homeowners are home when we arrive, or leave us a smart lock code so we can let ourselves in. Access is always confirmed ahead of time, so it is rare, but if we can't get in, we'll call and text you and wait up to 30 minutes, and after that a no-access fee of 50% of the booking price applies.
If we come across something like mold outside the area we were originally scoped to clean, we point it out to you rather than treat it ourselves. We are not licensed for remediation work, so from there it is on you, or your remediation contractor, to come back and reassess and address it.
A quick, on-the-spot ask, like reaching under a bed, is handled at no extra charge while we are already there. A priced add-on such as inside the oven or inside the refrigerator is quoted on the spot and added to your final bill. Something bigger, like a full garage clean-out rather than a sweep-out, works more like its own deep clean: we agree on a price before starting, or schedule it for another visit.
The whole visit, from the quote form to the finished clean, is laid out step by step on our process page.
We ask for 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a visit. A late cancellation or reschedule carries a fee of 50% of the booking price, with a short grace period right after booking; ongoing clients get a one-time waiver before the fee applies.
Most people deep clean once, then keep the result with a regular visit. See how recurring pricing works.
Need something else? Nest also offers residential cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, post-construction and post-remediation cleanup, office and commercial cleaning, Airbnb and rental turnovers, and listing-ready cleaning. What each service covers, room by room, is on the house cleaning checklist, common questions are answered on the FAQ, and every city we cover is listed under service areas.
