From first call to a finished clean
Four steps, a written scope, and a quote that stands on what you tell us. Whether it is a weekly home clean or the clean after a remodel, here is exactly what happens when you book with us.
Booking a home clean
Recurring, deep, move-in or move-out, listing-ready, turnover, or office: every clean that is not a post-project job starts the same way.
Send the quote form
Tell us the kind of clean, roughly how big the place is, and how often you want us. That is all we need to start, and the reply comes from Juan.
We talk it through
Juan calls to go over exactly what you want, room by room, and gives you your quote on that call, based on what you tell him, before anyone books a day.
A quote that stands
This is a quote based on what you tell us. If the job will run longer we'll tell you before starting and adjust then; otherwise the quoted price stands.
The clean
We clean to the scope we agreed, top to bottom. If anything in that scope is not right, tell us within 24 hours and we re-clean it at no charge.
Post-construction and post-remediation cleans follow their own path, below, because the scope depends on what the crew left behind.
Booking a post-construction or post-remediation clean
If you have never booked a post-project clean before, this is the whole process, start to finish.
Tell us about the project
Send the form or call. We ask about the rooms, the type of work that was done, and what the crew left behind, then come back with a clear written quote.
We plan the scope in writing
You know exactly which rooms and surfaces are included before anyone starts. No vague hourly promises, no surprises at the end.
We clean room by room
Top to bottom, in order: surfaces, sills, vents, fixtures, cabinet interiors, then floors last, so settled dust never lands on finished work.
You walk it with us
Before we leave, you inspect every finished room. The job ends when it looks move-in ready to you, not when the clock runs out.
One important note: Nest Cleaning Co. is a cleaning company. We do not perform mold testing, removal, or remediation. That work belongs to licensed remediation specialists. We handle the cleaning once their work is complete.
On the day
Three questions come up more than any others once someone decides to book: whether they need to be there, what happens if something is not right, and what happens if the date moves. Here are the answers before you have to ask.
You do not have to be home
Plenty of customers are there for the whole visit and plenty hand over a code and go to work. Either is normal. Access is agreed before the first clean, whether that is a smart lock code, a key, a gate arrangement, or someone letting us in, and it is confirmed again whenever it changes.
The price you were quoted
This is a quote based on what you tell us. If the job will run longer we'll tell you before starting and adjust then; otherwise the quoted price stands.
If something is missed, we come back
Before the first clean we agree a written scope, so you know exactly what is covered. If anything in that scope is not done to standard, tell us within 24 hours of the clean and we come back to re-clean it at no charge. It is a re-clean, not a refund, and it covers the work in the scope we agreed before starting.
If the date has to move
We ask for 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancelling or rescheduling inside that window carries a fee of 50% of the booking price, because the slot is usually too late to fill. There is a short grace period right after booking: cancel or reschedule within 2 hours of making the booking and there is no fee. Ongoing clients get a one-time waiver before it ever applies, so a single change of plan costs you nothing. Things come up: tell us early and we will do what we can.
More of this kind of detail is on the frequently asked questions page, and what each service covers room by room is on the cleaning services checklist.
